Tip #1 Set goals that motivate you, such as losing weight or buying a house.

Tip #2 Get S.M.A.R.T.

            Specific If your goal is to lose weight, how much? Break it down by month and week so that you have a more specific and measurable goal.

            Measurable - If you want to be a better person, what measurable act can you do to become a better person?

 

            Attainable - If your goal is to walk across all 7 continents in a year, is that actually attainable in that amount of time?

            Relevant - Have a goal that is relevant to you! What do you want to accomplish?

            Time bound - Have a goal with a time limit on it, say for example, a specific date or event that you have to accomplish this goal by.            

Tip #3 Put it in writing

            Make a post and put it out for the world to see! Or just write it down somewhere that you can see your goals every day.

Tip #4 Make an action plan

            If you want to lose 12 pounds this year, that is 1 pound per month. What do you need to do to make sure you lose 1 pound per month?

Tip #5 Stick with it!

            Don’t get discouraged! Again, make the goal attainable. Break down your goal into smaller pieces so that you can actually reach your goal.
