Where to Live in Niceville Florida!
Where to Live in Niceville Florida!
So, you're moving here to the Destin - Fort Walton Beach area and you're considering moving to Niceville. And, that's probably because it's nice. Well, in this video we're going to tell you exactly where to move to or at least our suggestions on it. We've got four coming up and you want to stick around to the last one because it is the most sought-after community from everybody that we put there, so stay tuned.
What are we talking about today? We're talking about Niceville. The really nice, Niceville. I'm just going to fall in love with this pun. Why would you like to move to Niceville? Well, here's a couple of reasons why people will move here. As I mentioned before, as you've probably seen, it is the great Public School system. Probably the best in the area. You've got light traffic through the main part of Niceville. It's an easy access to the airport, the interstate, and Eglin Air Force Base. You have easy access to water activities and it's a short car or boat ride to Destin. There are just a lot of great restaurants in there as well.
Okay. So let's go through as promised. We do have four neighborhoods where you should probably move to or consider moving to when going to Niceville.
1. ROCKY BAYOU
Why Rocky Bayou? It's centrally located throughout the Niceville area. It's just across a bridge from the Rocky Bayou State Park. It's Central to, as I said before to the things that you want to do on one side and close to Bluewater Bay and you have quick access down to Destin. You've also got a golf course, it's right there. You're right on the Rocky Bayou Golf Course Club. So, if you like that golf course living or considering doing this, this might be the place for you, and who knows, you might just have to open your back door and there's the six green or wherever.
2. FAIRWOOD ESTATES
Okay, keeping in the theme, we have Fairwood Estates. See what I did there? The golf thing? Okay. Now, this is just south of the A+ rated Niceville High School. That's the public high school. It's not quite on the main drag thereof Highway 20, but it's a really nice up kept community. Highway 20 does offer a lot of the amenities that you're going to find here in Niceville, which of course are the shops, the great restaurants. Personally really love the 3rd Planet Brewery, that's over there, kind of behind where Walmart's at, just great atmosphere and good beer. And, it's close enough without hearing all the traffic and that's why I said, it wasn't right on Highway 20. It's just a little bit further than that.
3. MAGNOLIA PLANTATION
Okay! So, if you're more of affluent sort of living and you got a big budget, we've got number three, which is Magnolia Plantation. This is one of the more ritzy areas as two gates in it, of course with it having a gate is a gated community with really, really nice houses in there. Now, good thing about this is it still has access to all the amenities that Bluewater Bay has to offer, which you could probably guess the last one and number 4 on the list.
4. BLUEWATER BAY
Alright, if this is probably the most sought-after community in Niceville. Every time somebody comes here, this is where a majority of the people, especially the military communities and contractors that we work with a lot, end up moving here if they're going to Niceville. The reason why is, if you drive through this community, you can feel it as soon as you get in there. There are lots of sidewalks, trails and you always see people out walking, running, whatever, they're out and about. As you drive down, you're going to notice that there is a golf course in this community. There's a 36-hole golf course. You've got ball fields. You got five swimming pools, there are private beaches, parks, shops, and even 120 slip Marina. And if you end up down by the marina, you also have the Dockside Restaurant there too that you should definitely check out. And, again, the feel that you're going to get from this is, it's a very family-friendly environment when you go through and preview Bluewater Bay.
Alright, so that's all that we have for you of where to live in Niceville, Florida. If you got any questions about any of the areas that we talked about, please feel free to call/text us at 850.320.7757 or email us at Admin@WhittemoreGroupRE.com
