Wealthiest Neighborhood NW FLORIDA
Wealthiest Neighborhood NW FLORIDA
You want to know where the wealthiest neighborhood is in Northwest Florida? Whether you are actually looking to move into the wealthiest neighborhood or you're just curious. Well, today, I am going to talk about where that location is in Northwest Florida.
Alright. So, the wealthiest neighborhood in Northwest Florida according to the MLS that I looked up this year is 30A. Now, this is located in South Walton County. Some of the communities include Rosemary Beach, Inlet Beach, Grayton Beach, there's Alys Beach, there's WaterColor, Seagrove, and there's Seaside. Those of you that's not familiar with Seaside, it was actually the area where that movie Truman show with Jim Carey was filmed at in 1998. So, I can imagine the excitement in the area for those that were visiting the area at the time or lived in the area that had been pretty cool to have such a big star film a movie right there in the Seaside area. So again, I did look in the MLS to do a quick search and see what is the most expensive home that sold this year in 2022. Right now, we are halfway through 2022. So far, the most expensive house sold for $24 million. Yes, $24 million.
So, let's just talk about a little bit of the details of this home. It was a brand new build, built in 2022. It is located in Inlet Beach. This home is 9,759 square feet. And there's 9 bedrooms, 8 full bathrooms, and 2 half baths. That's a lot of house to clean whether you clean it yourself or you hire an entire company to have a big crew clean it for you. But I can imagine a lot of products being used to keep that place thickened span. It also includes a swimming pool, definitely beachfront. So personally, I would not want to live in a house that big. However, if I was with a group of friends or maybe, you know, family members getting together, that would be a pretty cool place to rent out for a few days or for a week or two. It just sounds like a great time to have at almost ten thousand square feet of space to hang out in and enjoy time with friends and family right there on the beach. Again, that sounds like a great time.
The 30A, you do have lots of beachfront properties out there. If you're looking to purchase, of course, there's single-family homes and condos. Whether you're looking to move their full time or if you just want to live their part time. Maybe in the off season and you just kind of want to get away from wherever you currently live. 30A is a great, great area. A lot of people choose to go there because it's a little bit more upscale, maybe not as loud and crowded as some areas maybe.
But, there's still a lot of things to do in the 30A area. There's tons of shopping options. There's little boutiques, clothing stores, books stores, gift shops, places where you can buy artwork. There's a farmer's market. I know even as a local it could be fun shopping in places to buy little gifts or little souvenirs. Especially me, I like to buy, like, coffee cups and maybe t shirts or hats, towels. Just little things that have the name of the town on there. Even though you're local, it can be pretty cool to save for the future, you know. This might not be the area that I'm going to live in as a senior, so I'd love to have all my memorabilia, my souvenirs, or maybe grandchildren would love to hold on to that in the future. So again, as a local, it's great to have a lot of these places to shop too and want to have. Make sure you build up your little keepsakes to be able to have in the future or pass on to anyone else that wasn't actually from the area, but they have a sense of the area that you lived in, that area that you love so much. Again, it's the wealthiest neighborhood in the Northwest Florida area. So, it's great to have lots of souvenirs that you want to do, whether it's artwork or, you know, work that's done by local artists or souvenirs made by local artists. It's just great to have a piece of that wonderful area.
A lot of people always talk about how great the restaurants are too in the 30A area. I mean, there's rooftop bars, there's seafood restaurants, Southern food and lots of desserts. And every time I drive down the 30A area, I see lots of outdoor dining. There's people with pets. So that's great that there are restaurants that allow your pets. Of course, if you're outside. So, pets get to enjoy the fabulous area too. There's lots of kids around that's able to enjoy. And of course, a lot of people, there's just something for everyone out there.
There's lots of family friendly activities to do there. You can rent bikes, whether it's the standard bicycles or the electric bikes. There's scooters that you can rent or if you want to hang out in the water, you can kayaks and paddle boards. There's a couple state parks like Grayton Beach State Park. You can go hiking, have picnics. There's also venues where you can listen to live music, little concerts in the area.
30A, just overall a great place to live in. I can see or if you probably see why it would be the wealthiest area because of how beautiful it is. Nice little luxurious lifestyle in 30A. Especially when you're looking at beachfront properties here on the Emerald Coast. You can expect the numbers to be pretty up there when it comes to purchasing property out in 30A area.
Well, that's all I have for the wealthiest neighborhood in Northwest Florida, it's 30A area. Great place to visit if you don't plan on purchasing property there.
