Get Some Fresh Air at Oak Tree Nature Park in Mary Esther, FL

If you're looking to get out and breathe in some fresh air, hiking around Oak Tree Nature Park is a great way to relax in nature!

This park is located on Hollywood Boulevard right next to the post office in Mary Esther, FL. It's convenient to Hurlburt Field, Fort Walton Beach, and Navarre. The park is open daily from dawn to dusk.

This park consists of a 0.7 mile hiking trail through the woods. Along the path, you will cross over several bridges with Silver Sands Creek flowing underneath. There are quite a few benches along the way if you need a break, or just want to sit and enjoy the scenery. A pavillion with picnic benches is at the end of the trail if you want to hang out and have some lunch.

There are many informational signs througout the park informing you of the various plants and wildlife that live in the park. Be careful, there are a couple of places with poison ivy, but there are signs marking where it is.

You can bring your pups with you to this park, but they must be on a leash at all times.
